The UPS Centennial Hub was the first tenant to occupy 50 acres in the 790 acre Renaissance South Business Park. SABAK, WILSON & LINGO, INC. was responsible for planning and design of the park along with the detailed infrastructure design required for the UPS Hub. The site characteristics include a 259,000 S.F. sorting facility, a customer services center, two fuel islands and a semi-truck wash building. This is the main sorting hub for Louisville’s largest employer. Hundreds of tractor trailers, package vehicles and employee vehicles enter and exit the new road systems every day. All water, sanitary sewer, and gas lines were redesigned and replaced. An extensive storm water management system was implemented to satisfy the sensitive nature of the flood plain conditions in the area. |
