With development of the Moore farm at Breckenridge Lane, into what is now known as Springs Station, as well as other growth within the area, the City of Louisville contracted with Sabak, Wilson & Lingo, Inc. to widen Dutchmans Lane from Cannons Lane to the Springs site. The widening was done utilizing existing pavement, widening from a two to three lane section utilizing curb and gutter. Big Springs Country Club lay adjacent to the project to the north, and an established residential neighborhood lay to the south, so it was imperative that impacts to adjacent properties were minimized. |
