The success of the Cedar Grove and Salt River business parks, along with the flood prone tendency of the existing bridge at Buffalo Run, created a need for improvements on KY 480. Bullitt County, operating under permit from Kentucky Department of Highways, selected SABAK, WILSON & LINGO, INC. to prepare plans to raise KY 480 at Buffalo Run and widen it to three lanes to the business park entrance. The project was completed under budget and in a much shorter time period than it would have been under normal KYDOT process. |
