The expansion and renovation of this 240-acre campus required the complete redesign of all infrastructures serving the campus. The project manager with SABAK, WILSON & LINGO, INC. was responsible for the master plan and upgrade of the transportation system in and around the campus. Entrances and local streets were redesigned, widened and re-striped to provide adequate access. All water, sanitary sewer, and gas lines were redesigned and replaced. An extensive storm water management system was implemented to satisfy the sensitive nature of residential communities surrounding the site. The third phase of this site development package was the addition of a 7th & 8th grade school in the southeast corner of the campus. Working with the City of Indianapolis on permitting issues was a key element in moving this project from the conceptual stage through construction. The construction cost for the entire project was well over $100 million with site work being $15 million. |
