Norton Commons is a 600-acre, traditional neighborhood development located on the Jefferson/ Oldham County line in eastern Louisville, Kentucky. The neighborhood development was created based on fundamental principles which require a neighborhood center and edge, optimum neighborhood size, mixed uses, a fine interconnected network of streets and the giving of priority to public space. SABAK, WILSON & LINGO, INC. is currently serving as the local planners, landscape architects and engineers for this project. Working in concert with Duany Plater- Zyberk & Company, we prepared the Planned Unit Development report, filed for zoning changes, designed the road, sanitary sewer and storm water systems, performed all necessary engineering services required for approvals and performed all land surveying services required for approvals and construction.
Site development began in 2003 and still continues today. |
