Providence Point is a 19 acre mixed-use development located on Herr Lane in Louisville, Kentucky. The mixed-use development consists of residential flats, both freestanding office space and office space over retail, shops and restaurants. SABAK, WILSON & LINGO, INC. is currently serving as the landscape architects for this project. We are responsible for designing and detailing the public realm, which consists of raised planters similar to those seen on Chicago’s Michigan Ave and the park plaza, which acts as the signature entrance to the development, as well as, an urban respite with large shade trees, benches and a fountain. We are also responsible for designing and detailing the gardens for the 3-story stacked flats which are U-shaped with private balconies overlooking a courtyard garden. Construction shall begin in late 2008. |
